Sources has been awarded the contract for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in Rumilly (Haute Savoie), with a capacity of 54,000 population equivalent (PE). This ambitious project stands out for its environmental and technical performance, fully aligning with sustainable development goals.
The solution proposed by Sources, in collaboration with its Rhône-Alpes agency, was chosen for its numerous ecological and technical advantages. The project involves the construction of a next-generation wastewater treatment plant, incorporating Nereda granular sludge technology. This technology ensures optimal purification performance while being energy efficient.
The project is being carried out on behalf of the Communauté de communes Rumilly Terre de Savoie, with NALDEO providing project management.
The project includes several environmental innovations:
The contract also includes options for tertiary treatment, reception of external fats, micropollutant treatment, and reuse of treated water.
This collective project illustrates Sources' commitment to ecological transition and the sustainable performance of water treatment infrastructure. It is the tenth wastewater treatment plant in France to incorporate Nereda technology built by Sources, demonstrating their unique expertise in this field.
